Shoulder Pet is our most popular, most familiar design! These "your character here" loaf-shaped plush are designed to be big enough to squish, small enough to be easily carried. Lightly weighted, they ride on your shoulder or drape cutely on your shelf. They're great for bedtime cuddles, too, especially the larger sizes.
Size & Shape:
Shoulder Pet comes in three shapes: Standard, XL*, and Chonk**.
Standard Body Length: 10"

* XL Shoulder Pets are nearly twice the size of Standard (18”, 7”, 8”)
** Chonk Shoulder Pets are approximately the same length as Standard (10”), but about twice as wide (8”) and have a larger head. (8”)
Materials:
Standard, XL, and Chonk size Shoulder Pets are made of Minky with Minky applique, lightly weighted with plastic beadfill, and stuffed with polyester polyfil. Polyester fleece is often used for hair, accents, armor, feathers, and so on.
Pricing: Standard Shoulder Pets start at $50. This would represent a design with few markings/color changes and minimal extra drafting (such as specialized tails, wings, etc). From there, the price of the plush increases based on the complexity of additional design elements, such as extra limbs, stripes and spots, spines or manes or complex hairstyles, accessories like glasses or clothes, etc.
The base prices of XL and Chonk Shoulder Pets are just $35 more than what the same design would cost as a Standard. So their minimum price is $85, and the same complexity rules apply to them as to the Standards.
Each design gets a custom sketch made and calculation done to determine its price, and we itemize out that quote for you so you can see exactly how we determine our pricing! The same determination of complexity is applied to each design regardless of size.
Price varies more greatly based on design complexity than it does on size of plush.
Example: Gale's character is shown here as a Shoulder Pet in Standard size. Special details to note are the uniquely shaped ears, appliqued markings, the feathered tail made of fleece, and the fleece feathering down her spine. Also worth noting is the lack of complex detail on the majority of her body.
While her body is relatively simple, her tail and spine are very complex, so in total, Gale displays an above-average degree of complexity. A Shoulder Pet of similar complexity to her would cost about $200+ in standard size, or $235+ in the XL or Chonk styles.
